Year 6 animation project
Year 6 children have spent several weeks working with a group of retired people and an animation artist. Our idea was to organise a ‘Festival for All Ages’ at Exhibition Park. We spent several weeks developing this idea, painting, designing posters, making models and props and finally filming.

West Jesmond Radio
Each week children from Year 5 and 6 work together to write a short radio programme which is broadcast across the playground on Friday mornings. Each programme includes pre-recorded interviews, jingles and live features chosen by the children. The project is giving us great opportunities to learn about working together, developing communication skills and exploring life in our school and local community.
