Lexia during school closure
Children who use Lexia in school will still be able to log on and work from home, while school is closed.
Unfortunately the skillsbuilders and 1:1 sessions, which are usually used to support children and keep them working at the right level and pace, will not be able to run.
To avoid children working at levels which are too challenging for them, the online work will be reviewed regularly and if anyone needs to consolidate then the level will be reset so they can repeat the lessons.
Children’s progress will be reviewed when normal school is resumed as until then it won’t be possible to check they are applying what they have learnt in class.
