THRIVE weekly activity ideas
Walking, cycling and scooting are great ways to keep active and healthy in body and mind. During this time where we are mostly required to stay at home, these activities can become harder to do.

Sustrans Outside In provides fun ideas and inspiration for parents to bring education, health and wellbeing activities into your home.

Metro Safety

Nexus have produced home learning resources to support work on keeping safe on the network.

Although the Metro service is running to a reduced timetable there are still many dangers and it is paramount that these messages are sent to warn the children about the dangers of venturing on to the Metro tracks, as what may seem like harmless fun is in fact very serious and against the law.
Incidents of trespass onto the Metro system always spike when children are not at school and with schools now closed for an extended period.

Time Capsule
Some of the children in Year 2 have been completing this time capsule project while in lockdown.
It has some lovely activities to focus on the positives during this time. Why not have a go?
