Sport and Physical Education
Sporting provision at West Jesmond ensures that our children have the chance to participate and excel in a wide range of sports delivered by both teaching staff and professional coaches. As a result, teams from West Jesmond regularly compete in local competitions in disciplines such as tag rugby, squash, football, hockey, netball, swimming and basketball. Additional sports, such as tae-kwondo, are also offered as lunch time and after school clubs.
